Many have you have inquired about Sweetpea's reaction to the baby and her over all well being. Sweetpea appreciates the concern, and here in her own words is her reaction to her little sister Ruby:

"Why did you get a monkey with no tail?"
"It is 3AM, why aren't we sleeping?"
"Food comes from the Grrl's boobs, get out of here!"
"Grrl got fired and they gave her a howler monkey."
"Why is it funny when the baby pees all over the floor?"
"I can't believe the baby can poop in the house."
"Daddy, there are too many girls in this house, get rid of the bigger one."

Sweetpea is actually doing pretty good. She was totally confused, and probably still is. She is curious about Ruby, but she is not aggressive. There is a bit of a jealousy factor especially when it comes to Derek, but she has been a good sport about Ruby turning all of our lives upside down. The first night Sweetpea was very concerned at 3AM when the baby was crying. The second night she looked at us with puppy eyes and wondered why Ruby doesn't appreciate sleep like she does. The third night she slept through the crying. We are really happy that Sweetpea is still getting a full nights rest.

Sweetpea got to give her sister a kiss two days ago... She said she doesn't taste too good. So that is good. We think they are going to be great friends.
