Secretly Unstable

I have been told I am crazy, funny, a good cook, and a decent blogger. These are the expectations I am trying to live up to. Thank you.

I cannot believe it has been months since I have last blogged. My goodness, I must have so much to say. So much that you all have missed out on. Actually, no not so much. I have not blogged because I haven't really had anything much to blog about. Now, I wouldn't say that life is boring or un-notable. Maybe life right now is just un-bloggable??!!

So the following is my account of all of the un-bloggable things that have been going on.

Entertainment Category
Thank goodness the writer strike is over and Gossip Girl is back. Sure I am about 15 years older than the intended target of the show, but I like to watch it and pretend I am 16. (And rich, and skinny.) Maybe the real reason that I haven't been blogging is because of Facebook. In another attempt to be 16 I have gotten myself up to speed with Facebook, and even though my heart will always belong to Myspace I have enjoyed Facebook, and PARKING WARS! Who knew a silly application that has to do with parking fake cars on fake cars and issuing sassy fake tickets would be so freaking awesome. Finally in my tradition of getting into shows that are no longer on the air, I started watching The Wire. It is awesome!!!!

Food Category
I eat cereal for dinner now. Derek works crazy hours now, Ruby isn't ready for lasagna and stir fry just yet. Although she does enjoy her fruits and veggies. So I eat cereal. I also haven't been dining out much, so I can't blog about that. i have discovered a new love of cheese doodles. Puffy Cheetos!!!

Ruby Category
She sits! She eats baby food! She plays! She makes real turds! We are so proud. Ruby is almost 7 months and she is so much fun. At around 5 months the whole world opened up to her. Including the fact that we have a dog. She thinks Sweetpea is so funny. One glance at Sweetpea and she is cracking up laughing, which then in turn makes me laugh. I am entertained hourly about the joys and annoyances of motherhood. From playing with Ruby to listening to crazy people and their advice.

Work Category
I am just searching for a better balance. Would love to work 4 days a week, have 3 full days with Ruby girl. But there is this crappy reality of a mortgage and bills. It blows. I am still striving to be my best at work, unfortunately it is difficult to get it all done in 8 hours. Oh well. I am hoping to score New Kids on the Block tickets for free, that will make it all worth while.

Commuting Category
I was tempted at one point to write a blog about how people's morning breath on the subway makes me want to go postal. I don't get it. Do people really leave the house without brushing their teeth? Stinky morning breath in my face makes me want to kill.

See now how unblog worthy all of this is?! Ridiculous.
